Pantserfort Harssens in 1944

The Pantserfort [fortress with armored gun protection] Harssens in 1944. By this time, both double-barreled 30.5-cm guns had been removed to be melted in the German steel mills. The German installation to launch depth charges [German: Wasserbomben] can be seen in the foreground.
