Marineflakbatterie ‘Delfzijl’

Delfzijl was also defended by an anti-aircraft battery. It comprised mostly bomb-proof bunkers and a few thin-walled ones and its artillery consisted of four 10.5-cm anti-aircraft guns. The men were housed in thin-walled shelters. Today, only one FL246 bunker is intact; it is now part of the history museum that was built around it. The museum also houses a marine aquarium.
