Hoge Nol
The summit known as Hoge Nol looks like a natural dune but is in fact an artificial hill,
the result of a government employment relief program during the nineteen
thirties. The Germans built a bunker on its summit. Today the bunker is still
located under the sand, or rather, it has been buried anew. This is what it looked
like after having been excavated in 2009 by Cyprien Gaillard together with a
group of volunteers associated with Stichting Atlantikwall Museum Scheveningen www.atlantikwallmuseum.nl,www.stroom.nl
