This thirty-work complex was the headquarters of an infantry regiment. The structures lie dispersed among a handful of villas in the surrounding dunes. The core is located along the Meyboomlaan (road). Here one finds a type 117 command bunker with nearby water tanks, an observation post, a type 502 personnel bunker, two similar bunkers and a type 607 ammunition bunker some distance away. The southern section of the complex contained a type 118 hospital bunker, which was a common component of a headquarters. The site further included a kitchen, a bath house and two latrines. During the Cold War, the complex served a military purpose and was modified and enlarged. It was decommissioned in 1980 and has stood vacant ever since.
